Das Stillleben beginnt mit dem Aufbau desselben. Eigentlich schon vorher: mit dem Sammeln von Gegenständen für Stillleben. Ich gehe sehr gerne zu Trödelmärkten und -läden. Dort finde ich oft skurriele Dinge, die ich zum Zeichnen und Malen mitnehme. Die Medusa schenkte mir mein Sohn vor einigen Jahren. Sie kommt in diesem Bild groß heraus. Die Barby Puppen kaufte ich bei nochmal, ein 2nd Hand Kaufhaus der Berliner Müllabfuhr. Den Tierschädel brachte mir meine Verlegerin Nina-Alice Schuchardt mit. Sie fand ihn im Wald und reinigte ihn für mich.
