A family is sitting at the breakfast table. Father, mother and daughter. The daughter can only be identified by the upside-down doll she is holding in her hands. The family is apparently made up of grumpy morning people. There is no smile on their faces. And yet, the fact that they are eating together symbolizes togetherness. The large pot promises a hot drink. The only thing that seems irritating is the two vessels on the table for three people . Does one of the family not like morning coffee?
Susanne Haun's painting, made with acrylic and ink in several layers, leaves plenty of room for one's own thoughts and tells many stories that life writes. The painting was exhibited in both Hamburg and Berlin.
