Inspired by the splendor of flowers in her garden and the Prince Pückler Garden in Bad Muskau, Susanne Haun created this small but beautiful canvas. The dahlia depicted is already half wilted, the pink, purple and indigo colors symbolize reproduction, the woman's vulva. She uses pen and waterproof antique ink on an acrylic base. Memories of the first base shine through with lines in the last base layer. It is up to the viewer to let their thoughts wander and find new ones in the flower.
The canvas is on a stretcher frame so that the work can be hung directly. Additional framing on request.
