A dance of destruction and beauty: volcanic eruption on La Palma. Amidst flames and lava flows, Susanne Haun created this canvas to capture the impressions of her friend who witnessed the devastating volcanic eruption in 2021, which lasted 85 days and 18 hours. A contrast of bright sky blue, gloomy lava gray and fiery red conveys the unbridled power of nature. A tribute to the lost treasures and the eerie beauty of La Palma.
The canvas is on a stretcher frame so that the work can be hung directly. Additional framing on request.
